February's New Release of SoutronSOLO 3.1 Brings Greater Efficiencies to Library Management
Feb03
February will see version 3.1, the new release of SoutronSOLO Library Management System.
Since 2007, Soutron has dedicated itself to bring out a simpler, more intuitive library management system for librarians. The new release builds on version 3.0 released in October 2009.
Soutron's unique approach to serials management in this new release is worth seeing and there are many other additions too. Loan reservations brings greater efficiencies, it is flexible and simple to administer saving staff time and making it easier for end-users to request materials. The introduction of analytic cataloguing tools, for example to catalogue journal articles and streamlining the cataloguing of multi-volumes are features that will save time for library staff and make it easier for users to find information.
This new release will be made available automatically to all SoutronGLOBAL and SoutronSOLO clients.
"All of the additions in this release have come from my personal involvement with users over the past few months. My aim is to provide necessary functionality in a simple way. We try hard to be very responsive."says Graham Partridge, Development Director
