Field Law wanted to move to a cloud-based, integrated library system to manage the workflow of a multi-office, multi-librarian, regional law firm library. We were keen to seek a new and cloud based library management product and selected Soutron to provide such a solution. With all the functions we needed, loans, online catalogue and a search portal for end users, it was a perfect match for our library.

The Search Portal is getting positive feedback already, after the introduction of the EBSCO widget. It's been helped by our own Windows 10 & o365 project that has placed our Library icon on all the desktops across the OUP devices. (Previously only on UK builds) I've had a query already from the US. It'll be interesting to see what the stats are like at the end of the month. As we are pushing the Soutron portal over SharePoint now.

As a specialist national meteorological library and archive, we were attracted to Soutron because of their accessibility, flexibility and on-going plans for future system developments. Working alongside Soutron we are looking forward to offering our customers a modern, effective search and discovery tool for both our library and archive collections.

BIALL selected Soutron Library Management (LMS) software to allow us to better manage and leverage the collective knowledge of our Association. This includes current known knowledge items, committee minutes, PDFs of previous newsletters and other internal documents. Soutron LMS will allow us to reduce administrative time, save on data duplication and increase accessibility and monitoring of our internal knowledge.
Soutron’s flexible cloud based software and built in API will also allow integration with our website. This, along with their attentive support, will prove to be a fundamental and valued addition to the Association.
We selected Soutron for our new library management solution as you listened to our needs and we liked your approach to our future and current requirements. We needed to update our current software and we really found the ability to combine our archive and library, digital content into one single repository ideal. It perfectly provides a solution for our and our Members’ needs.
The ability to import and export content en masse and flexibly for our workflows and reporting needs is also very important to us as we are a small team. As we already used EndNote® for collecting publication records, thanks to Soutron it now takes half the time it did previously to add them to the LMS. We can now bulk import various record types, article metadata, migrated ejournals and ebooks directly into the LMS.

We were looking for a smaller version of our existing Adlib software which we were stuck with on a local server. We wanted software that would provide us with a simplified straightforward archive and library solution. We selected Soutron as the whole product offered fits our needs, budget and we really liked your approach to things. Integration with our website was also important and as a cloud based software we are rest assured you will be maintaining this, so we don’t have to!
Our previous library software really never did what we wanted it to do for us, it wasn’t that easy to use and with support at the time moving to the USA we decided to move over to Soutron.
We did look at other software vendors in the marketplace, but we liked the extended functionality Soutron offered within the library management software and it really just ticked all the boxes for us.
We have maintained a Library database at Ricardo for many years, and in 2012 we decided to move to the Soutron Library Management System as we already knew and trusted Soutron, who were able to provide a clear roadmap and future development of their own software.
