Role: Library/Archive Management Systems Software Sales Consultant
Must have a proven and successful track record of selling software solutions to libraries/archives and information centers preferably to corporates. Primarily a remote working role researching new prospects and opportunities carrying out prospect product demos online, though some travel may be required attending other relevant industry events. Working online alongside teams in the UK, USA and Canada. Daily activities could be performed from a home office.
Key Skills:
Previous experience in a sales/customer service role in information management / library / archive industry
Empathetic with a natural ability to develop trusted relationships
Client-focused, high attention to detail, organized
Outgoing and friendly personality and excellent team player
Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
Proficient with online tools (e.g. GTM, Teams, Zoom), MSFT Office (PPT), and familiar with CRM Systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
An aptitude to build up professional relationships with international clients, a conscientious approach to admin and record keeping, and the personality to fit in well with a team are all important. Applicants should ideally have a good understanding of the library market and database technologies.
