The latest news from the Special Libraries Association (SLA) has warmed our hearts! Our close friend and associate, Guy St. Clair, will be among 13 amazing members recognized at the SLA 2019 Annual Conference in Cleveland.
Guy St. Clair will receive the John Cotton Dana Award, SLA’s top honor. This award goes to information professionals to acknowledge their lifetime of achievement and service to the Special Libraries Association, libraries and the information profession.
Achievements
Guy has many claims to fame including a term as SLA president in the 1990’s. Named a Fellow of SLA in 1996, and inducted into the SLA Hall of Fame in 2010, he continues to be an advocate for knowledge services.
He has also written many publications about knowledge management and knowledge services. You can watch an interview between Tony Saadat, Soutron Global’s CEO and President, and Guy as they discuss ‘Knowledge Service, The Book’.
