Leading Research Company Cites Soutron Flexibility and Simplified Complex Information Access

San Diego, CA

International library transformation company Soutron Global announces that Innventia, a world-leading research and development company for pulp, paper, graphic media, packaging and bio refining, has selected the Soutron Library and Knowledge Management System to radically simplify access to complex assets, after undergoing a long evaluation period. Innventia is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Diverse client organizations place significant demands on the Innventia Information Centre, a unique resource first established in 1945, whose collection consists of books, dissertations, reports, conference proceedings, and more than 500 journal titles. Innventia also host Paperbase, a database produced jointly by CTP, VTT and Innventia to provide its customers with more than 240 000 records of the latest technical, research and business information. Camilla Burman, Manager at the Information Centre is excited to be moving to a fully integrated solution with added features and simpler ways of processing data. She observes, “We need a very flexible database to make it possible to manage our changing needs. Soutron has that built in flexibility without the need for IT expertise.”

“Soutron’s Research & Development is driven by client needs” says Graham Beastall, Soutron’s UK Managing Director, “and Innventia is typical of the innovative organizations inspiring us to make Library and Knowledge Management ever more efficient and easy to use, helping to make all kinds of resources more accessible.”

The business mission of Innventia is to produce and refine scientific research findings and ideas based on forest raw materials for the benefit of customers throughout the entire value chain. “Soutron’s streamlined processes will help staff to be more productive right away and our adaptable system will readily accommodate further development needs as they arise,” states Tony Saadat, President & CEO of Soutron Global.
