Objectives

OUP Library Reception In 2012 Oxford University Press (OUP) were seeking a new Library Management System. A cloud-based solution that would provide universal access, work alongside SharePoint and provide a connectivity to a central search facility via EBSCO.

Andrea Cable, Bookshop and Library Manager says “After researching and speaking with the marketplace vendors at the time, it became very clear that their products all provided solutions for academic or public libraries that were overly complicated for a busy Publisher’s library such as ourselves with strong emphasis on business information services”

“We chose Soutron because they were the only supplier, who bid for our business that were genuinely willing to help develop an LMS solution that was really tailored to our specific needs.”

Andrea says “The professionalism and willingness to support OUP and the provision of a comprehensive demonstration of their solution convinced my team that Soutron was the best choice of supplier for our new library management solution.”

“We must add that compared to other LMS suppliers Soutron provided the perfect solution for a corporate library.”
