Auto-Graphics software facilitates efficient resource sharing among consortium members, allowing libraries to share their collections seamlessly. This means users can access a broader range of materials than any single library could provide.
By leveraging shared resources and cooperative cataloging, libraries can reduce overhead costs. This includes savings on processing and technical services, as one library can create high-quality bibliographic records that are shared among all members.
The software enables better service to the public by allowing users to borrow from the entire consortium's collection. This increases the availability of resources and enhances user satisfaction.
Auto-Graphics supports various individual library and consortium structures, accommodating all types of unified systems with shared policies and multi-library models that maintain individual autonomy, allowing each library to operate according to its unique policies.
The software is fully compliant with NCIP and ISO ILL library standards, ensuring smooth integration with other major resource sharing systems like OCLC WorldCat, ILLiad, Tipasa, and Relai.
The software supports both mediated and unmediated patron-initiated interlibrary loan (ILL) cross-asset searching requests, giving patrons the ability to place and track their own request.
The software facilitates cooperative cataloging, allowing high-quality bibliographic records to be created and shared among consortium members, reducing the need for each library to have extensive cataloging expertise.
The A-G Library Platform provides a robust and versatile solution for library consortia or individual libraries looking to enhance their resource sharing capabilities, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
