PG&E Pacific Energy Center Selects Soutron Library Software, Replacing EOS

Increased Capabilities, Improved Information Access, Customer Service Cited

International library transformation company Soutron Global announces that the Pacific Energy Center, the energy training center for Pacific Gas & Electric, has elected to upgrade to Soutron from their current ILS provider, EOS.

“We are eagerly anticipating our upcoming conversion to the Soutron system. Their support and customer service during this process has been excellent and very much appreciated,” states Marlene Vogelsang, Resource Specialist at the PG&E Pacific Energy Center. “The Pacific Energy Center is located in San Francisco, CA and staff there is looking forward to working with Soutron’s California-based implementation team.”

Citing the increased capabilities of the fully-modern Soutron cloud-based digital library, knowledge and information management solution, Vogelsang is eagerly anticipating transforming the energy center’s library, further stating: “We are looking forward to increased capabilities and using the multiple portals/OPAC functions to provide improved access to a variety of information/resources and tools to our customers.”
