San Diego, Calif – International library transformation company Soutron Global today announces details of an extended support package for information professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Following its successful and well received COVID-19 Financial Support Package of 2020, Soutron Global unveils its refined program for 2021, the Pandemic Recovery Program (PRP).
“2020 saw us respond to the pandemic by offering free professional development webinars for information professionals and donating 10% of our revenue to a fund that provided new and existing clients with financial assistance as they partnered with us”, said Soutron Global CEO, Tony Saadat.
“As we begin 2021, we have a renewed sense of hope due to the various COVID-19 vaccines being distributed throughout the world. However, we know that it will take some time for things to get back to “normal” and so I am pleased to announce that we are extending and revamping our support plan for the information professional community.”
“Given the universal approval for our 2020 efforts, we will continue to offer both relevant professional development webinars to support information professionals and provide new financial support measures for those wanting to benefit from our software solutions.”
“Our software makes connecting distributed workforces to the right information sources easier and more efficient. We want to help info-pros continue to achieve those goals”.
The program will continue throughout 2021 until the pandemic fund is exhausted. For new clients, the program will apply to our ILS – Library/KM/Archive Management System as well as our Discovery platform. Discovery offers a unified search of online databases and e-journals – something particularly relevant when staff are working in distributed locations and access to printed material is not feasible.
Existing clients can also take advantage of the program when they need additional services.
